Words Are Your Wand

Have you ever heard someone say, “Speak it into existence”?
Our words are extremely powerful yet we have not been taught what words really are or how to properly use them in this human experience. In this article I will explain exaclty why words are your wand!
Words create our reality and directly influence our personal timeline trajectory based on the frequency and vibrations of the annunciations and syllables we speak which impact our energy fields and program our experience as linked to our subconscious minds and nervous systems.
Our words can end wars or start them. Bind, or set free. Contract, or expand. Words can be the difference between healing relationships or destroying them.
Simply by what we speak, words are the key drivers of our experience faithfully influencing our reality in the background in the direction of our choosing. In knowing this, It’s worth asking the question,
How are we creating our reality based on the words we are using?
At the end of this article, I’ll share my personal experience demonstrating how intentional language, affirmations, and conscious word choice can influence mindset, perception, and personal transformation.
The Hidden Power of Water

Every cell in your body is alive and are not only busy regenerating and carrying out essential processes, but they are constantly listening and responding to your environment.
A key figure in this space is Dr. Masaru Emoto. He became widely known for his fascinating experiments exploring how thoughts, emotions, words, music, and intention influence water molecules.
His work sparked global conversation around consciousness, energy, and the connection between human emotion and the physical world.
In his experiments, Emoto exposed water samples to different emotional stimuli, including positive affirmations such as “love” and “gratitude,” as well as negative words, harsh emotions, prayer, and various forms of music.
The water was then frozen and photographed under a microscope to observe the resulting crystal formations as you can see below.

According to Emoto, water exposed to positive emotions and intentional words formed beautiful, symmetrical crystal patterns, while water exposed to negative language or emotional energy appeared distorted, chaotic, or incomplete.
His findings led many to question whether human consciousness may have a deeper effect on reality than previously understood.

One reason Emoto’s work resonated so deeply is because the human body is made up largely of water. His experiments naturally encouraged people to reflect on the power of self-talk, emotional energy, mindfulness, as well as the words we speak to ourselves and others.
The notion of thoughts influencing our wellbeing has become a powerful theme within spiritual and wellness communities.
At its core, the message is simple yet profound: words carry energy, thoughts shape perception, and the way we speak to ourselves may influence our inner world more than we realize.
Rewrite Your Story. Direct Your Play

According to William Shakespeare, “All the world is a stage and all the men and women merely players.” This implies that YOU are the director of your own playwrite.
We navigate this realm with free choice and each choice opens up timelines or probabilties for what and how we experience our lives.
This naturally encourages us to choose wisely but even more importantly, choose from our hearts!
From lack of knowledge and awareness, since birth, we have been subconsciously wired for failure and to accept struggle by unknowingly casting fear frequencies into our energy fields.
Recall that your cells are always listening and taking command translating your words via the language of energy, frequency, and vibration.
Just a few examples of the many inherited false perception filters we have been socially conditioned to speak and believe about ourselves and our environement:
- “This is just the way it is.”
- “It’s just how I am.”
- “It’s just the way the world is.”
- “I’m such a procrastinator.”
- “Gosh, I’m so stupid!”
In all of my meditations you will notice, the words and mantras I mindfully choose carry a specific resonance with intention that supports the goal of the meditation.
Before we continue, I feel you would enjoy Florence Scovel Shinn’s audiobook “Your Word Is Your Wand” as a fantastic resource that further expands on the power of our words as dictated audibly by the Master Key Society YouTube channel.
Epigenetics and the Power of Thought
I have fallen in love with just how expansive the field of Epigenetics can be. The idea that our genes are similar to switches that are continuously turning off and on different gene expressions in response to our environment really perks my ears up.
Bruce Lipton helped bring epigenetics into mainstream conversation by exploring how environment, perception, beliefs, emotions, and stress may influence gene expression.
His work challenges the idea that genes alone determine our health, behavior, or future, suggesting instead that the body constantly responds to both external conditions and internal mental states.
Lipton also emphasizes the connection between thoughts, language, and personal transformation.
According to his perspective, repeated self-talk, emotional patterns, and subconscious beliefs influence the nervous system, hormonal balance, and overall wellbeing.
Beyond expression, words shape perception, behavior, and the reality we experience over time.
While some of Lipton’s broader metaphysical interpretations remain debated within mainstream science, his work continues to encourage deeper awareness around the relationship between consciousness, environment, language, and human potential.
How I Use Words To Create
The name of the game is very simple really. Speak more of what you want in your life and less of what you do not.
In meditation and energetic cleansing rituals. Everything is consciousness so to clear static energies that are not mine, I will often use declarations and decrees which are essentially commands.
When you declare/decree before a statement, you are casting a strong intention into the living field, or unified field.
The Unified Field suggests that everything in existence is woven together through a living field of energy, consciousness, and intelligence.
Again, an intelligence that is always listening on standby for your input.
When I am driving. I will take the opportunity to start speaking positivity into the direction of what I want to experience and the results are profound! You may notice your energy gradually begin shifitng into a lighter state, even if just a little.
It is important to note that individual experiences with affirmations and intentional language may vary so please use personal discernment and approach all practices in a way that feels supportive and aligned for you.
For example, I may cast phrases such as…
- “Life is always working out in my favor in all directions.”
- “Life supports me in every possible way in all directions.”
- “I hold gratitude in my space for all of the daily support I receive.”
- “I am unlimited potential in all directions.”
- “I am worthy and deserving of all things in love”
- “I enjoy living in full prosperity and abundance.”
- “I am radiating perfect health.”
In addition, when you use the words “in all directions”, you are encompassing and accounting for all:
- Space
- Time
- Dimensions
- Micro-cosm
- and Macro-cosm
Piloerection Feedback

Piloerection, also known as the “Spiritual Shivers” as described in some spiritual circles, is often times experienced when making any declaration or affirmation. For me I see it as a confirmation feedback mechanism.
Piloerection is the involuntary nervous system response that causes goosebumps or chills when tiny muscles attached to hair follicles contract.
It can be triggered by cold temperatures, awe, music, emotional intensity, or deeply meaningful experiences.
To Conclude
Words are not just sounds we release into the air. They are patterns, signals, and choices that shape the way we meet ourselves and the world around us.
When we begin speaking with more awareness, we begin rewriting the inner script we have been living from. So choose words that open, soften, strengthen, and align you.
Speak to yourself as you would a small child, with care, and compassion, not someone you are here to defeat.
Your words are your wand. Be mindful of what you are casting.
